Mayrim V Rios Perez
MD, FACS (SURGEON)
Dr. Mayrim Rios Perez, better known as “ Dr. Rios” is a Board Certified General Surgeon and General Thoracic Surgeon practicing in Houston, Texas since 2020. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Her motivation to become a doctor came from her family as she grew up at her mother’s pharmacy, and her desire to help others through medicine. Her motivation to become a surgeon came from her craftiness and seek for immediate results that can positively impact an individual’s quality of life. She enjoys innovation and education both instilled from her father who retired as a college professor.

Joseline Bernal
MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Joseline is from El Salvador and has been in the medical field for 16 years serving the Houston community. She is bilingual (fluent in english and spanish) and can assist patients in scheduling appointments, surgery and follow ups. She is very knowledgeable about the challenges in health care and can facilitate the process of coordination of care. She takes great pride in her work and can make your experience at Memorial City Surgical smooth and more pleasant. In her time off Joseline enjoys spending time with her family and loved ones. We are proud to have her as part of our family here at Memorial City Surgical.
